Water & Wood by miahallen
Project Log: Here
Forum user miahallen is somewhat of a rarity on our forum because he resides in Japan, and we're certainly interested in his current project, which promises to be an absolute monster of a water-cooled desk PC.
Any PC that uses three quad 120mm-fan radiators is going to draw some attention, and these will form a major part of a PC that's being built into a large wooden desk. With enough fans to cool several high-end PCs, we doubt cooling will be an issue either.
This project also involves plenty of modding, with the desk being modified to accept power and reset buttons, as well as a scary amount of hardware. Above we can see the radiators mounted inside the desk with a Laing DDC pump located next to them.
With three GTX 580 1.5GBs and a Core i7-2600K, this PC should be more than capable in games. The project's creator, miahallen, has also recently added an engraved, illuminated side window to the desk.
Remember that you can now vote for several projects, so head over to our
forum to vote for miahallen's project if it's one of your favourites.
That's all for this month! We'll be back next month with another edition of Mod of the Month, and six new projects that will all be shouting for your votes.
